About Us

Our family started coming to the Gulf Coast about a decade ago. In 2021, we fostered and eventually adopted Ben, who had been rescued from a cruel situation by our local animal shelter. Due to his extensive injuries and medical needs, we could no longer travel without Ben. It was difficult to find a vacation rental that allowed pets, so we decided to put everything we had into buying a holiday home so we could continue our family vacations and bring Ben and his siblings with us.

We kept running into other people with similar situations to ours, so we wanted to make our house available to others traveling with their pets. Ben’s Beach Bungalow was born! We are happy we can share our home with you and your family. Even after starting our business, we still travel 30 hours across the country from Utah with Ben, his brother Skippy (canine), and his sister Hermione (feline) to spend time here at Ben’s.

We want you to know that your stay here also supports animal rescue. Besides the wonderful memories you are making, you can also feel good about supporting folks who are very active in several animal welfare organizations, including here in Baldwin County.
